This event celebrates the release of 'Oh Yeah!', the collaborative album by Willie Buck and Bob Corritore on the VizzTone Label Group. The duo, true champions of classic Chicago blues, first joined forces in the late 1970s when Willie invited Bob to play in his band. Despite Bob’s move to Phoenix in the 1980s, they’ve maintained their musical connection, reuniting annually to perform together.

Bob Corritore, born in Chicago in 1956, is a renowned blues harmonica player, producer, and promoter. Inspired by Muddy Waters at age 12, he mastered the harmonica under the guidance of Chicago blues legends. Now based in Phoenix, Corritore has released over 100 recordings, earned multiple music awards, and runs the Rhythm Room music venue. He continues to champion traditional blues through performances, productions, and his long-running radio show.

Willie Buck

Willie Buck’s career as a blues singer began slowly after he arrived in the “Windy City,” Chicago, in the 1950s. He quickly got into the circles by exploring, through a relative, Muddy Waters at his standard gig venue, the renowned Sylvio's Club in West Side. Muddy Waters is a name to which he has often been stylistically compared, but Willie has created his own career and song respecting traditions.
